What is the post shoe used for?
Beam shoes are mainly used in timber construction to establish a stable connection of the secondary beams to the main beams. It is also possible to connect the wooden beam to the masonry and concrete. Characteristic of the joist shoe type B are the two tabs angled inwards. This makes part of the joist shoe visually invisible after installation.
How is the beam holder constructed and how is it used?
The holes with the diameter of 5 mm, 9 mm, 11 mm and 14 mm are already pre-drilled, which allows a simple and quick assembly with the appropriate mounting accessories. Thus, both horizontal wooden beams and vertical wooden posts can be securely and quickly fastened in the beam shoe support. The number of holes depends on the size of the wooden connector. You will find the details in parentheses with the available sizes.
Due to the sendzimir galvanized surface of the steel, our beam shoes are optimally protected against external weather influences.
