What is the support foot used for?
Post support Walter height-adjustable is by the right / left thread even after assembly still height-adjustable and therefore find their use in many horticultural projects.
How is the height adjustable post support constructed and how is this used? The post supports can be screwed to a level concrete or wooden floor by means of 4 holes per plate, each with a diameter of 13 mm. If the foundation is not the same height everywhere, the post support can be adjusted within a range of 140 mm - 200 mm. In this way, height differences of up to 60 mm can be compensated.
In order to avoid an unintentional adjustment of the height, the post supports are equipped with a lock nut. The lock nut is screwed against the long nut and thus prevents unintentional loosening.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the post holder?
For stability reasons, approximately 10 - 20 mm of the adjustment range is required as thread security. Thanks to the galvanization, the Walter post support is optimally protected against external weather influences.
