What is the scaffold clamp used for?
Our standard couplers connect two scaffold tubes at 90° to each other. They are used as a rigid connection of scaffold tubes or also in connection with our scaffold anchors to fix the scaffold to the wall.
How is the clamp constructed and how is it used?
The scaffold clamps have a diameter of 48 mm and are therefore suitable for all scaffolds with a tube diameter of 4.83 cm. Our Rigid Coupler is made of galvanized steel and has a ribbed design.The hammer head bolt is 82 mm long and the collar nut has a wrench size of 19. The material of the hammer head bolt and collar nut is steel yellow zinc plated.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the scaffold coupler?
All couplings are produced according to EN 74 and are provided with the corresponding test mark.
