What is the scaffold clamp used for?
Our standard couplers connect two scaffold tubes with different diameters at 90° to each other. They are used as a rigid connection of scaffold tubes or also in connection with our scaffold anchors to fix the scaffold to the wall.
How is the clamp constructed and how is it used?The scaffold clamps have a diameter of 48 and 60 mm and are used to connect scaffold tubes with a diameter of 4.83 cm and 6.00 cm. Our Rigid Coupler is made of hot-dip galvanized steel and ribbed design.
The hammerhead bolt has a metric thread and the collar nut has a wrench size of 22. The material of the hammerhead bolt and collar nut is steel yellow zinc plated.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the scaffold coupler?
All couplings are produced according to EN 74 and are provided with the corresponding test mark.
