What is the Post support adjustable used for
Post supports Alfred are very practical and are used in many garden & timber construction projects. The hexagonal nut is welded to the support plate and the weld is used to fix the plate in place.
How is the post support constructed and how is it used?
The post support can be screwed to a level concrete or wooden floor using 4 holes, each with a diameter of 13 mm, or anchored using bolt anchors.
If the foundation does not have the same height everywhere, the Post support can be adjusted in a range of 50 - 480 mm before final installation. The 500 mm long threaded rod enables both the height adjustment function and the function of a Mandrel that is screwed into or out of the post when the height is adjusted.
What needs to be considered and what technical details does the support base have:
Important:
For stability reasons, around 10 - 20 mm of the adjustment range is required as thread safety. Thanks to the zinc flake coating, the Alfred Post support is optimally protected against external weather influences. The base plate measures 160 × 100 mm and the support plate measures 100 × 100 mm.
