What is the Post support adjustable used for
Post supports Alfred are very practical and are used in many garden & timber construction projects. The hexagonal nut is welded to the support plate and the weld is used to fix the plate in place.
How is the post support constructed and how is it used?
The post support can be screwed to a level concrete or wooden floor or anchored using bolt anchors.
If the foundation does not have the same height everywhere, the post support can still be adjusted after installation using the movable support plate and its locking nut. The threaded rod enables both the height adjustment function and the function of a Mandrel that is screwed into or out of the post when adjusting the height.
What needs to be considered and what technical details does the support base have?
Important:
For stability reasons, you need around 10 - 20 mm of the adjustment range as thread safety. Thanks to the galvanisation, the Post support is optimally protected against external weather influences.
