What is the security gate latch used for?
Gate latches are used for gates, doors and barn doors. A practical latch allows the gate or door to be opened conveniently at any time.
How is the gate latch constructed and how is it used? The latch consists of a strike plate, bolt, latch, rosette, pin and a pin. The striker plate, measuring 120 x 85 mm, is screwed to a gate or door through 6 holes with a Ø of 4 mm.
On the other side of the door, the latch is connected to the striker plate and the bolt through a pre-drilled hole and the rosette, which is screwed to the door. The locking pin secures the latch. The hook is hammered into a pre-drilled hole under the front part of the deadbolt using a rubber mallet.
What should be noted and what technical details does the lifting latch have?
Thanks to the galvanisation, the Hinge is protected against external weather influences.
