What is the safety peat trap used for?
Gate latches are used on gates, doors and stable gates. A practical latch allows you to conveniently open the gate or door at any time.
How is the peat trap constructed and how is this used?
The installation is quite simple. The gate latch consists of a locking plate, bolt, latch, rosette, pin and a pin. The striker plate with dimensions 120 x 85 mm is screwed to a gate or door, through 6 holes with a Ø of 4 mm.
On the other side of the door, the latch, through a pre-drilled hole and the rosette, which is screwed to the door, is connected to the striker plate and the bolt. The safety pin fixes the latch. The hook is hammered under the front piece of the bolt into a pre-drilled hole with a rubber mallet.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the lifting trap?
Thanks to the galvanic zinc coating, the hinges are protected against external weather conditions.
