What is the L-shaped post support used for?
L-shaped post supports with ripped pin for setting in concrete are ideal for various timber construction projects such as light or low fences. Thanks to the L-shape of the Post support, posts can be installed quickly and easily.
How is the L-shaped Post support constructed and how is it used?
The 200 mm long fluted Pin of the Post support is concreted into the ground and is therefore permanently anchored in the ground. Once anchored, the wooden posts can be easily attached using suitable wood screws. The necessary holes are already provided with a Ø of 11 mm.
When installing, it is important to ensure that there is a small gap between the post and the post support to protect the post from moisture. The beams with ripped pin are available in the following clear widths: 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm
What to consider and what technical details does the Post Base have
The fork is 100 mm high and is made of 4 mm hot-dip galvanised steel. Our Post supports are well protected against external weather influences thanks to the hot-dip galvanisation.
