What is the post anchor used for?

Screw-on sleeve, also called ground sleeve is suitable for fixing or dowelling square posts and fence posts. They are suitable for wooden structures up to 1.50 m.

How is the screw-on ground sleeve constructed and how is it used?

Since the screw-on base sleeve is doweled or screwed on, the assembly is very quick and easy. The post sleeve is doweled to the ground through the holes on the base plate. To fix the post in the sleeve, holes are prefabricated parallel to each other on the sleeve walls.

The substrate must ensure stable mounting, such as a concrete foundation. The post must not rest on the bottom of the sleeve, otherwise moisture can penetrate into the wood. Under-ventilation must be provided.
