What is the Tilt pin used for?
These Tilt pins are intended for retrofitting to scaffolding and ensure a secure connection of lateral diagonal braces on scaffolding and provide improved stability in the event of lateral forces such as wind or uneven loads.
How is the Tilt pin constructed and how is it used?
The Tilt pin has a threaded rod with a diameter of 8 mm and is fitted with a self-locking nut. The head of the tilt pin, which serves as a holder for the locking plate, has a diameter of 20 mm and is firmly connected to the threaded rod.
The tilt pin is used when fastening diagonal braces with other elements of the scaffolding. The spare part is connected to the scaffolding using the existing threaded rod and screwed in place with a self-locking nut. The diagonal braces can then be easily guided over the head of the Tilt pins and secured with the movable plate.
