What is the scaffolding clamp used for?
Our Couplers with brace pin are mounted on the guardrail post or on the assembly frame and are used to hold guardrails on the scaffolding bay. After fitting the coupler at the desired height, the guardrail is pulled over the coupler pin.
How is the toggle pin clamp constructed and how is it used?
The guardrail clamp has a diameter of 48 mm and is therefore suitable for all scaffolding with a tube diameter of 4.83 cm. The Tilt pins have a Ø of 20 mm. Our Scaffold coupler is made of hot-dip galvanised steel and has a ribbed design.
The T-bolt for scaffold coupler is 82 mm long and the Collar nut has a spanner size of 22. The material of the T-bolt for scaffold coupler and Collar nut is yellow galvanised steel.
What should I bear in mind and what technical details does the scaffold coupler have?
All couplers are produced in accordance with EN 74 and have the corresponding test mark.
