What is the Grendel latch used for?

Grendel deadbolt with spring is used as a closing variant for fence gates or doors in the garden. Independent loosening of the bolt, which can be caused by vibrations, is counteracted by the installed spring.

How is the gate latch constructed and how is it used?

The gate slider consists of three components, a bolt, the base plate and a loop for the bolt locking. During assembly, it is important to note how far the bolt can be pushed out.

The base plate is screwed to a door or gate at 4 screw-on points. The bolt locking loop is screwed to the part which is to be locked with the door at two screwing points.
