What is the Box lock used for
The Box lock with cylinder and door handle is highly functional and is used to secure all types of wooden doors, such as garden doors or barn doors. It has a lifting latch and can be mounted on the left, right, inwards and outwards.
How is the door lock constructed and how is it used?
The lock is lockable and consists of a lock box with bifold key technology, 2 keys, the door handle with panelling and a locking plate.
The box lock is screwed on through the 4 screw holes with a Ø of 5 mm. An 8 x 8 mm square hole is then drilled through the door through the door handle holder. The handles and panelling can then be fitted. The locking plate can now be fitted to the door frame through the 6 screw holes with a Ø of 5 mm. The box itself is 120 mm high, 100 mm wide and 20 mm deep.
What needs to be considered and what technical details does the door lock have?
Thanks to the galvanisation, the box lock is protected against external weather influences.
