What is the Storm hook used for?

How is the locking bar constructed and how is it used?
The wind hook consists of a galvanised steel rod with a hook and an eyelet. The scope of delivery includes the two Eyebolts for easy attachment of the Storm hook.
The Storm hook is attached to the eyelet side with the built-in Eyebolt on the fixed wooden part. The enclosed Eyebolt is then attached to the movable wooden part so that the hook effortlessly secures the gate, door or window.
