What is the ground socket used for?
Screw-on sleeve round, also called ground sleeve is suitable for fixing or dowelling round posts and round fence posts. They are suitable for wooden structures up to 1.50 m.
How is the screw-on sleeve constructed and how is it used?
Since the screw-on base sleeves are doweled or screwed on, the assembly is very quick and easy. The post sleeve is doweled to the ground through the holes on the base plate. To fix the post in the sleeve, holes are prefabricated parallel to each other on the sleeve walls.
The substrate must ensure stable mounting, such as a concrete foundation. The post must not rest on the bottom of the sleeve, otherwise moisture can penetrate into the wood. Under-ventilation must be provided.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the wooden post sleeve?
The screw-on sleeve is available in the following sleeve sizes: 81 mm, 101 mm, 121 mm. Due to hot-dip galvanizing, the post supports are protected from external weather conditions.
