What is the wooden post support used for?
U-post support for dowelling is used for various timber construction projects such as fencing, decking and general garden construction. It is suitable for timber constructions up to 1.50 m.
How is the post support constructed and how is it used?
As the U-shaped post supports are dowelled or screwed on, installation is very simple. The support is firmly screwed into the foundation using the 4 holes. The wooden post is mounted through 2 holes in the 200 mm high side bracket using fixing screws.
The post must not rest on the base of the support, as otherwise moisture can penetrate the wood.
What should be considered and what technical details does the ground fixing for wood have?
Our U-posts are available in the following fork widths: 71 mm, 81 mm, 91 mm, 101 mm, 111 mm, 116 mm, 121 mm, 141 mm. The hot-dip galvanisation protects the Post supports from external weather influences.
