What is the Storm hook used for
Storm hooks with eyelets are used to secure windows, garden doors or gates. They allow the open door or window to be locked in place and thus protect against uncontrolled slamming. They are also ideal for locking doors and gates.
How is the locking bar constructed and how is it used?
Wind hooks consist of a galvanised steel rod with a hook and an eyelet. The scope of delivery includes the two Eyebolts for easy attachment of the Storm hook.
The 400 mm long Storm hook is attached to the eyelet side with the built-in Eyebolt on the fixed wooden part. The enclosed Eyebolt is then attached to the movable wooden part so that the hook effortlessly secures the gate, door or window.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the storm hook?
The fitting is available in the following lengths: 50 mm, 80 mm, 100 mm, 120 mm, 160 mm, 200 mm, 300 mm, 400 mm. Thanks to the galvanised finish, the Storm hooks are optimally protected against external weather influences.
