Slide bolts are used as a locking variant for small wooden doors, garden gates & windows due to their narrow base plate. The Slide bolt is suitable for both right and left turning doors.

How is the bolt slider constructed and how is it used?

The door slider consists of three components: a bolt, the base plate and a loop for the bolt locking mechanism. During installation, it is important to note how far the bolt can be pushed out.

The base plate is attached to a door or gate with the bolt on it, while the loop for bolt locking is screwed to a post or frame to enable locking.

What needs to be considered and what technical details does the door bolt have?

Due to its straight design, the base plate and loop should be at the same height during installation. The bolt slide is available in the following sizes: 80 x 35 mm, 100 x 35 mm and 120 x 35 mm. Thanks to the galvanisation, the Slide bolts are protected against external weather influences.
