What is the post support used for?
Ulrich post supports are height-adjustable even after assembly due to the freely movable 6 mm thick support plate and are therefore used in many horticultural projects.
How is the support foot constructed and how is this used? The post support can be screwed to a flat concrete or wooden floor with the help of 4 holes, each with a diameter of 13 mm, or anchored with a bolt anchor.
If the foundation does not have the same height everywhere, the post support with the movable support plate and its locking nut can be adjusted in a range of 30 - 150 mm even after installation. The 150 mm long threaded rod and a diameter of 24 mm enables both the function of the height adjustment, as well as the function of a mandrel which is screwed into or out of the post during height adjustment.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the post support?
For stability reasons, approximately 10 - 20 mm of the adjustment range is required as thread security. Thanks to hot-dip galvanizing, the Ulrich post support is optimally protected against external weather conditions. The base plate has a dimension of 100 × 100 mm and the carrier plate has a dimension of 80 × 80 mm.
