Grendel latches are used for many different construction projects, such as doors or garden gates. The door latch is suitable for both right and left turning doors.
How is the latch constructed and how is it used?
The door latch consists of three components, a bolt, the base plate and a loop for the bolt latch. During installation, it must be ensured that the bolt of the Grendel latch can be pushed out 23 mm.
The base plate, which is connected to the bolt, measures 40 x 40 mm. It is screwed to a door or gate at 4 screw-on points with a Ø of 5 mm. The loop for bolt locking has a length of 40 mm and a width of 10 mm, this is screwed to two screw-on points with a Ø of 4 mm on the part that is to be locked with the door.
