What is the Gate hinge used for?
Gate hinges are used as movable fastenings for fence gates, garden gates or doors. They are used in combination with Clamps and should always be at least 2/3 as long as the width of the door.
How is the Hinge constructed and how is it used?
Installation is quite simple. The Gate hinge is screwed to the element to be moved and connected to the Clamps, which is attached to a planed round or square post. The roller used to attach the Clamps has a diameter of 16 mm.
Each Gate hinge has a square hole in addition to the round holes. This serves as an anti-theft device in conjunction with a round-head screw and a hexagon nut.
What should be considered and what technical details does the fitting have?
The shutter hinge is available in the following lengths: 300 mm, 400 mm, 500 mm, 600 mm, 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, 1000 mm. Thanks to the galvanised coating, the hinges are protected against external weather influences. It is important that at least two hinges are always used per door.
