What is the Post Base used for
U-Post supports with t-pin are often used in horticulture. Thanks to their high post lugs and special T-shaped concrete anchors, the post supports are ideal for windbreak fences up to 1.50 m.
How is the T-pin support constructed and how is it used?
The 200 mm long T-pin of the post support is concreted into the ground and is therefore permanently anchored in the ground. Once anchored, the wooden posts can be easily attached using suitable wood screws. The necessary holes are already provided with a Ø of 11 mm.
When installing, it is important to ensure that there is a small gap between the post and the post support to protect the post from moisture. The Post support with t-pin is available in the following fork widths: 71 mm, 91 mm.
What should be noted and what technical details does the Post support have?
The fork is 200 mm high and is made of 5 mm hot-dip galvanised steel. Our Post supports are well protected against external weather influences thanks to the hot-dip galvanisation.
