What is the U-post holder used for?
U-post girders with a stone roller to be set in concrete are mainly used to easily fix wattle and daub fences under 1.20m.
How is the U-post support constructed and how is it used?
The 200 mm long fluted stone roller of the post support is set in concrete and is thus permanently anchored in the ground. The wooden posts can be easily fixed after anchoring with suitable wood screws. The necessary holes are already present with a Ø of 11 mm.
During installation, it is important to ensure a small distance between the post and the post support to protect the post from moisture. The beams with stone roller are available in the following bracket widths: 71 mm, 81 mm, 91 mm, 101 mm, 111 mm, 116 mm, 121 mm, 141 mm.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the post support?
The bracket is 100 mm high and is made of 4 mm hot-dip galvanized steel. Our post girders are well protected against external weather conditions by hot-dip galvanizing.
