What is the wooden post holder used for?
U-post girder for dowelling is used in various timber construction projects such as fencing, decking and general gardening. It is suitable for wooden structures up to 1.50 m.
How is the post support constructed and how is it used?
Since the post supports are doweled or screwed on in a U-shape, the assembly is very simple. The support is screwed tightly through the 4 holes in the foundation. The wooden post is mounted through 2 holes each in the 200 mm high side lug with the help of fastening screws.
The post must not rest on the bottom of the beam, otherwise the moisture may penetrate into the wood.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the floor fastening for wood?
Our U-posts are available in the following bracket widths: 71 mm, 81mm, 91 mm, 101 mm, 111 mm, 116 mm, 121 mm, 141 mm. Due to hot-dip galvanizing, the post supports are protected from external weather conditions.
