What is the garden gate trap used for?
Garden gate latches are used as a locking option for wooden doors and garden gates thanks to their easy and quick installation. The length of the operating lever makes it easy to use from the outside.
How is the snapper constructed and how is it used?
The latch consists of three components, a lever, the base plate and a strike plate for bolt locking. The lever is fixed to the base plate with a hexagon screw. By loosening the hexagon screw, the lever can be adjusted both in height and in stop.
When mounting, the base plate with the bolt on it is fixed to a door or gate, in turn the strike plate is screwed to a post or frame to enable locking.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the gate trap?
In order for the bolt to lock automatically when the door is pulled closed, the strike plate has a slope. The bolt is available in the following sizes: 80 x 100 mm. Thanks to galvanic zinc coating, garden gate latches are protected against external weather conditions.
