What is the safety peat trap used for?
Security hasps are a robust and secure locking option to lock doors outdoors with a padlock. The concealed screw connection prevents the loosening of the screw connection and thus also the opening of doors by unauthorized persons.
How is the peat trap constructed and how is this used?The hasp consists of 2 components, the 125 mm long hasp and the eye plate. Due to the double joint, this security latch is also suitable for unevenly closing doors.
The screw-on plate is screwed to a door or gate at 4 screw-on points with a Ø of 3 mm. The eye plate has a length of 43 mm and a width of 28 mm, this is screwed at two screw points with a Ø of 4 mm, to the part which is to be closed with the door.
