What is the wooden post holder used for?
U-post holders for bolting down are used in various timber construction projects, such as for fencing, decking and general gardening. The U-shaped post holder is suitable for wooden structures up to 1.50 m.
How is the post holder constructed and how is it used?
Since the U-shaped post holders are anchored or screwed on, installation is very easy. The base plate of the post base is bolted to the foundation using the four holes in the base plate. The wooden post is mounted through two holes on each side plate using mounting screws.
The post must not rest on the base of the post base, as otherwise moisture can penetrate the wood.

Our U-posts are available in the following fork widths: 71 mm, 81 mm, 91 mm, 101 mm, 111 mm, 116 mm, 121 mm, 141 mm. The post bases are protected against external weather influences by hot-dip galvanisation.
