What is the adjustable post holder used for?
Alfred post supports are very practical and find their use in many garden & timber construction projects. On the carrier plate is welded the hexagonal nut, the welding is used to fix the plate.
How is the post holder constructed and how is this used?
The post support can be screwed to a flat concrete or wooden floor with the help of 4 holes, each with a diameter of 13 mm, or anchored with a bolt anchor.
If the foundation does not have the same height everywhere, the post support can still be adjusted in a range of 40 - 150 mm before the final assembly. The 150 mm long threaded rod enables both the function of the height adjustment, as well as the function of a mandrel which is screwed into or out of the post during height adjustment.
What should be considered and what are the technical details of the support base?
Important:
For stability reasons, approximately 10 - 20 mm of the adjustment range is required as thread security. Thanks to hot-dip galvanizing, the Alfred post support is optimally protected against external weather conditions. The base plate has a dimension of 160 × 100 mm and the carrier plate has a dimension of 100 × 100 mm.
