What is the height-adjustable post support used for?
The Ulrich post support is very practical and is used in many garden projects. Thanks to the freely movable 8 mm thick support plate, the post can still be adjusted in height even after installation.
How is the support base constructed and how is it used?
The Post support can be screwed to a level concrete or wooden floor using 4 holes, each with a diameter of 13 mm, or anchored using bolt anchors.
If the foundation does not have the same height everywhere, the Post support can be adjusted with the movable support plate and its locking nut in a range of 50 - 230 mm even after installation. The 250 mm long and 30 mm thick threaded rod enables both the height adjustment function and the function of a Mandrel that is screwed into or out of the post when the height is adjusted. It is important to pay attention to the 2 cm thread safety when adjusting the height.
What should be considered and what technical details does the Post Base have?
Important:
For stability reasons, around 10 - 20 mm of the adjustment range is required as thread safety. Thanks to the hot-dip galvanisation, the Ulrich post support is optimally protected against external weather influences. The base plate measures 160 × 100 mm and the support plate measures 100 × 100 mm.
